International Citizen.

Yesterday I had the pleasure to work with International Citizen, we had a little shoot to show their upcoming spring collection. Founders of International Citizen are Sheena Gao from Shanghai and Laura Krusemark from Kansas. The style is universal, their clothing has a cool military and casual feel. Both ladies have studied music/arts/fashion, they have traveled the world and you can see that in their design. Been way too long, I've really missed my dear blog! Life has been kinda hectic for the passed 2-3 months, a lot has happened. I've been busy with my internship and school, beside that I've been working on my music. I recently had to changed my visa blah blah, if you are on a student visa you get my pain lol! The LBD Im wearing is from one of my lovely sponsors Persunmall, I honestly didn't feel like wearing any heels or get all dolled up. I went for a urban casual look, loving my Timberlands! Cut-Out Dress.

MIA!!! I know that I have been missing for a while, but I'm back! So much stuff is happening right now that I simply just didn't have time to blog. I recently got a job at a jewelry store called Kamofie, Im learning everything about the collections, the store etc etc.  I got like 5 more weeks of school, all the big projects start now for finals. Im busy, busy but I've really missed blogging. I'll do my best to blog at least once a week or every 2 weeks. 

So, today's outfit! I got this really cute sweater dress at Heavenly Couture on Abbot Kinney, I totally love the cut-out detail. Great pre-fall dress, I can layer it up! Weather in LA is still kinda cloudy and cold, this summer was terrible. I kept this look pretty simple, black ankle boots and a brown leather bag. Hope you all are doing well, Im planning on having a fall/winter giveaway so stay tuned ;)

Lightweight Knit.

This is what I wore today for school. I love wearing knit jumpers, they're so comfy and chic!!! Weather in LA has been so unpredictable lately, rainy mornings to sunny afternoons or sunny mornings to rainy afternoons. Every time I wear some cute dress or shorts it turns out to be some cold windy day. School is pretty hectic at the moment, I got a lot of projects that I need to work on and midterms are coming up. I cut my looong hair you guys, decided it was time to try something new. I've never had it this short, well actually I have but I was like 8 so doesn't count lol. I really love it, perfect for hot summer days. Hopefully we'll get some nice hot weather soon!!!

I completely forgot that I had this tunic, I was cleaning out my closet and saw it! I've had it for such a long time, I bought it when I was like 17 haha. Gorgeous lavender color, prefect for summer! I decided to keep it clean and simple with a waist belt, some cute sandals and a my Kors tote.

Midnight Marauders Thrift.

You guys know that I love thrift shopping, half of the stuff in my closet are all thrift! A couple days ago I was contacted by Midnight Marauders, they are an online thrift store. All their clothes are quality secondhand items. They have private sellers, thrift and vintage stores. I personally love their stuff and Im going to make a purchase really soon. They have variety of styles from urban, preppy to boho. Currently Midnight Marauders only ships to customers in the US. You guys need check them out. Sweet Denim Overall.

It's Friday!!! Im out in Vegas for a couple days on a mini vacation with my familia. It's so hot out here, been spending most of my time at the pool of course. How are your summer days, what are you guys up to??? 

So on our way to Vegas we stopped at a Walmart to get some snacks for the trip. I have to be honest I never buy clothes from Walmart, like ever! Just because I feel like the quality is bad and it's kinda boring in there lol!!! Anyway, I saw this denim overall and fell in love with it. Sweet price, paid $15 for it and the quality is pretty good. I really like it! I've been looking around for a cute overall that's not too expansive. They even have it in a darker denim color, but I've always liked washed out denim more. Like I said, weather out here is crazy hot so I decided to wear a crop top under my overall, some sandals, my new H&M snapback and ofc my sunnies. Let me know what you think, have a good Friday!

Two Trends to Invest In.

Mixing Prints: Yes mix them!!! Mix your favorite prints together. A tip when  it comes to mixing and matching prints is to  keep in mind sizes/scale. Try and mix similar prints together, large prints with small prints! If the two various prints share a color, even better because they will compliment each other. If you're not a big fan of loud prints, keep it easy go with classy stripes. Stripes go well together with floral prints, animal prints, polka dots etc.

Statement Sunnies: Sun's Out! Go for fun,crazy sunnies this summer. You can find them in many cool shapes, colors. Shades are the best summer accessory, I personally love them!!! I am on the hunt for a pair of funky round sunnies myself. Sunnies are a great statement piece. If you don't want to pay too much for a pair then you can definitely find great priced sunglasses at stores like Forever21, H&M, Target etc.
